  1. You made me laugh!! Yes, I'd take snow over critter bugs any day! Yeah, one of my friends in Texas said, "It snowed and all of Texas shuts down." That's the truth. The interstate becomes a crazy place because of 1/8 inch of snow. The man next to me at church this morning said that he puts sand on the overpasses ... and he's exhausted from this last week. Hee hee!

I remember when we first moved to Spokane, WA ... we were there for about three years. And the first time it snowed ... there were snow plows out in the road in record time. And you know we've had this discussion ... snow tires weren't optional ... snow tires were a slice of heaven. :) I doubt you can even find snow tires here in Texas. You'd probably get fined for even looking at them. Don't mess with Texas!! :)

And I love that your earrings are from Malta ... where Paul shipwrecked. I have a missionary friend who lives there!! :)

    1. Yep, when you can't walk through the house without wondering if you are about to step on a scorpion, something is wrong. And we've found about two to three of them through the winter. Ugh. I hope this week of freezing temps put them under. I've heard it's our trees. Not every area in Texas has them this bad. Lucky us. :)

    3. 1/8 of an inch of snow is dangerous if it turns to ice. Whether it's paper thin or 3 inches, ice is the worst!!!

    4. Steel toed boots? This silly girl still walks around barefoot through the summer. It's just a matter of time before I get stung by a scorpion. When it happens ... and I say when ... the whole world may hear!! :) Getting bit by a big spider was no fun either. At least I didn't see it happen ... and I had my reading glasses on, so I couldn't even tell what had bit me until I flung them off! :) I try not to talk much about bugs on Facebook anymore though because one of my dearest friends asked me not to ... she said she was having nightmares of scorpions! :) She should live in my nightmare. We see at least one a day throughout the summer. Though, they are often dead, thanks to our cats.

  3. That was a fun video to watch! :) You mentioned doing edits on your second (first) book. Do you have a publisher yet? I know you have an agent, but wasn't certain about a publisher.
