Are these from your yard? Our irises are just about done for the season here in Minnesota. It's always sad to see them go, but they are replaced by another lovely flower shortly after!
These are all in my front yard. I have thirteen kinds of irises. I am a junkie! The pale purple (5th picture) ones smell like cotton candy, the kids love to bump them and have the fragrance waft all over. They're from my BFF's garden from when she lived in Montreal. I planted enough of a variety of heights and strains of irises that they're in bloom for a while. Yeah, I timed them. What a nerd. Are we friends on FB yet? I'd love it if we could be. You can go to my page and see an album of last years's garden. Look for me as Jennifer Zarifeh Major. There is only one person alive with that name! Thanks for stopping by!!
I just searched for you on Facebook and can't find you - maybe you can find me: Gabrielle Meyer. And, by the way, I had an even more unique maiden name than you: VanRisseghem. :)
